Do I need to pay money to enter the sweepstakes?
No. It's completely free.

No. You must register in order to enter the sweepstakes
How do I register?
From the homepage of GE Switch & Win Sweepstakes, click on the "Enter Sweepstakes" button. Once on the registration page, enter the relevant information in the fields and click on the "Submit" button.
Why do I need to enter my street address?
In the chance you are deemed a potential prize winner; we must have this information to send you the proper eligibility documentation by a trackable mail delivery service (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
Why do I need to include my birth date?
We require this information to verify that you have reached the age of majority in your province or territory of residence at the time of entry. This information is not used by GE for any other purpose.
I do not have a computer, can I mail in my entry?
No. While mail-in entries are not accepted, you may visit your local public library or use any other location with public Internet access in order to enter this sweepstakes.
I don't have e-mail yet. How do I get a free e-mail account?
You can get free accounts that you can access through your browser from a number of places on the Web. Yahoo! Mail and MSN Hotmail are excellent in this regard.
May I register multiple times and enter on more than one account?
No. The rules explicitly limit each contestant to one entry per person per day.
My e-mail address is rejected. Why?
An e-mail address may be rejected because it contains an ! (exclamation mark) or some other character that is not allowed. Also, any particular e-mail address may be registered only once.
My husband/wife/son/daughter/sister/brother/friend and I want to both enter using the same e-mail address but the system won't let us. What should we do?
The contestant/winner will be deemed the person who is the authorized subscriber at the time of entry. If multiple contestants living in the same household would like to enter the sweepstakes they will each have to have a separate e-mail address. See above and the program rules about getting a free e-mail account through your Web Browser.
My e-mail address has changed. How can I get my new address in your records?
Please contact Promotion Headquarters. Just let us know your original e-mail address as well as your new one and we will update our records for you.

Winners will be announced in September of 2008.
SWEEPSTAKES QUESTIONS:
I tried to enter the sweepstakes but it tells me that I already entered today.
There is a limit of one sweepstakes entry per e-mail address per day. A day is defined as beginning at 12:00:01 AM EST and ending at 11:59:59 PM EST.
I am having trouble entering the sweepstakes.
Have you registered yet? If not, you must do so before you can enter. See the previous section.
